Calumet loss narrows to $95.9 million

Calumet (NASDAQ:CLMT) reported a Q2 2026 net loss of $95.9 million, or $1.09 per share, compared with a $147.9 million loss a year earlier.

Adjusted EBITDA increased to $159.3 million from $55.1 million, while adjusted EBITDA with tax attributes rose to $175.2 million from $76.5 million.

The quarterly loss included $163.6 million of non-cash RINs expense and a $9 million unrealized derivative gain, while Specialty Products and Solutions generated $161.7 million of adjusted EBITDA.

Following the announcement, Calumet's share price was up 0.26% at $41.99 in premarket trading as of 7:35 a.m. ET.

Elsewhere, Montana/Renewables generated $26.6 million of adjusted EBITDA with tax attributes, while Performance Brands contributed $6.3 million and completed the first phase of the MaxSAF 150 expansion.

Calumet also retired about $115 million of debt in July through redemption of $100 million of 9.75% senior notes and repayment of a $15.5 million Montana terminal financing arrangement.
