Cadeler (NYSE:CDLR) signed a memorandum of understanding with Vattenfall to develop next-generation offshore wind operations and maintenance solutions through Cadeler’s Nexra service platform.

The collaboration will focus on improving Major Component Exchange capabilities, with the companies aiming to develop maintenance approaches that can reduce downtime and support long-term offshore wind asset performance.

The companies will explore scalable maintenance concepts across multiple turbine platforms as the global offshore wind fleet expands and operators seek ways to improve operational efficiency.

Cadeler provides offshore wind transportation and installation services, while Nexra, launched in 2025, represents the company’s expansion into offshore wind maintenance activities alongside its existing operations.

The partnership is expected to support further development of offshore wind maintenance models as turbine fleets grow and operators require longer-term service solutions.
