
BW LPG profit reaches $120 million in Q2

BW LPG (NYSE:BWLP) reported second-quarter 2026 profit attributable to equity holders of $120 million, or $0.79 per share, supported by shipping performance and higher market activity.
The company reported quarterly results with shipping Time Charter Equivalent income of $74,000 per available day and $71,600 per calendar day after IFRS 15 and FFA adjustments, while 53% of available days were covered at $64,000 per day.
BW LPG reported BW Product Services generated a realized trading gain of $127 million during the quarter, while reported trading results included a gross loss of $18 million and an after-tax loss of $31 million due mainly to a non-cash unrealized mark-to-market valuation change of negative $145 million.
The company declared a cash dividend of $0.95 per share, representing 100% of Shipping NPAT for the second quarter of 2026.
The company reported liquidity of $773 million and a net leverage ratio of 23.5% at the end of the quarter, compared with 26.3% as of March 31, 2026.
BW LPG sold three vessels, including BW Elm, BW Birch, and BW Levant, with expected net book gains of approximately $36 million, $37 million, and $17 million respectively, while a dual-fuel retrofit vessel was fixed under a five-year time charter agreement.
