Bunge Global (NYSE:BG) agreed to sell its two sugarcane mills in São Paulo, Brazil, to COFCO International as part of the company’s strategic business priorities.

The transaction involves the Rio Vermelho and Nova Unialco mills located in Junqueirópolis and Guararapes, which became part of Bunge following its July 2025 business combination with Viterra.

Bunge said completion of the sale remains subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of required regulatory approvals, while the mills were previously owned by Viterra before becoming part of Bunge.

The company did not disclose financial terms of the transaction.

Bunge Global operates in agriculture, food, and ingredient markets, including commodity sourcing, processing, and distribution activities worldwide.

The sale represents a portfolio adjustment by Bunge as the company focuses on its broader business priorities following the integration of Viterra assets.
