BTQ Technologies acquires QPerfect quantum software company

  • BTQ Technologies (NASDAQ:BTQ) completed the acquisition of French quantum software company QPerfect.

BTQ Technologies (NASDAQ:BTQ) completed the acquisition of QPerfect, a France-based quantum software company, strengthening its Quantum Ready infrastructure platform.

The acquisition adds several quantum software capabilities to BTQ’s technology portfolio, including, MIMIQ quantum emulator for quantum system simulation and testing, Digital Twin modeling capabilities for designing and validating quantum system and Quantum Logical Unit (QLU) control framework for managing quantum computing architectures

BTQ said these technologies are designed to support applications including quantum-safe communications, post-quantum cryptography (PQC) migration, and hybrid quantum-classical computing networks.

QPerfect’s Strasbourg, France hub will serve as a foundation for BTQ’s European research and development activities and collaborations within the European Union’s quantum technology ecosystem.

The acquisition aligns with growing industry efforts to prepare cybersecurity and computing infrastructure for the transition toward quantum-enabled technologies.
