BRP (NASDAQ:DOO) named Denis Le Vot as its next president and chief executive officer, marking a major leadership transition as José Boisjoli prepares to retire after guiding the powersports manufacturer for nearly two decades.
Le Vot, a longtime Renault Group executive with more than 30 years of global automotive experience, will assume the role on Feb. 1, 2026.
He will also join BRP’s Board of Directors.
As part of the succession plan, Boisjoli will step down as chair at the same time.
Pierre Beaudoin is set to take over as chair of the board, while Barbara Samardzich will continue as lead independent director.
The company said the leadership changes are intended to accelerate the execution of its M28 strategic plan and support BRP’s long-term growth ambitions.
BRP highlighted Le Vot’s international operating expertise and track record in product and market expansion as key elements of its decision.
The appointment comes as the maker of Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo and Can-Am vehicles works to strengthen its competitive position in a changing global mobility landscape.
