Brown & Brown (NYSE:BRO) has appointed Dorothea “Dori” Henderson as Chief Information Technology Officer, effective February 23, 2026.

Based in the company’s Daytona Beach, Florida headquarters, Henderson joins the insurance brokerage giant at a pivotal moment as the industry pivots toward automated risk assessment and cloud-native operations.

In her new role, Henderson will oversee the firm’s global enterprise technology strategy, with a specific mandate to accelerate data and artificial intelligence initiatives.

Her responsibilities extend to ensuring system reliability and cybersecurity across the company’s expansive network, as well as managing the complex technology integrations that follow Brown & Brown’s frequent mid-market acquisitions.

The appointment comes as brokerage firms face increasing pressure to modernize "legacy" workflows.

Henderson is expected to lead the development of advanced digital capabilities and "teammate tools" designed to boost broker productivity.
