Bowman Consulting Group (NASDAQ:BWMN) has secured a $4.9 million contract to provide construction engineering and inspection (CEI) services for the expansion of the Golden Gate Wastewater Treatment Plant in Collier County, Florida.

The contract is a key component of a broader $172 million municipal infrastructure program designed to significantly increase the facility's processing capacity from 1.5 million gallons per day (MGD) to 5 MGD to meet regional growth demands.

The assignment is scheduled to span approximately 40 months, providing Bowman with extended revenue visibility through the end of the construction cycle.

This award leverages the firm’s long-standing relationship with Collier County, which spans nearly 30 years of continuous project collaboration.

The contract adds to Bowman’s substantial presence in the sector, with the firm citing more than $20 million in current water and wastewater project backlog.
