Bowman expands Southwest footprint with acquisition of Las Vegas-based Smith & Associates

Bowman Consulting Group (NASDAQ:BWMN) announced today the acquisition of Smith & Associates Land Surveying, a prominent surveying and geospatial firm based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The transaction, which became effective May 4, 2026, marks the latest step in Bowman’s aggressive national expansion strategy.

The acquisition was financed through a combination of cash and a seller promissory note.

Management expects the deal to be immediately accretive to earnings, contributing approximately $2 million in annualized net service billing.

By integrating Smith & Associates, Bowman significantly bolsters its surveying and geospatial service offerings in the Southwest.

The move specifically enhances the company’s ability to serve a diverse portfolio of clients, including critical relationships with Nevada’s public and federal agencies.

Smith & Associates brings deep local expertise in land surveying, which complements Bowman’s multi-disciplinary engineering and consulting platform.
