
BlackBerry Q1 revenue jumps 26% to $152.9 million

BlackBerry (NYSE:BB) reported Q1 FY2027 revenue of $152.9 million, up 26% year over year, with adjusted gross margin of 78.6%.
The result compared with about $121.3 million in revenue a year earlier, while GAAP gross margin reached 78.3%.
Adjusted EBITDA rose to $36.3 million, and GAAP operating income reached $15.3 million.
BlackBerry said QNX and Secure Communications each grew more than 20% and achieved Rule of 40 performance.
Following the announcement, BlackBerry's share price was down at $8.62.
BlackBerry reported adjusted net income of $25.4 million, GAAP net income of $8.5 million, operating cash flow of $4.6 million, and $422.9 million in cash and investments.
BlackBerry said it expects FY2027 revenue of $594 million to $621 million, adjusted EBITDA of $119 million to $139 million, non-GAAP EPS of $0.16 to $0.20, and operating cash flow of about $100 million.
