Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) reported second-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue of $9.8 billion, up 3.6% year over year, as adjusted earnings per share reached $1.47 and exceeded analyst estimates.
The results compared with expectations for adjusted EPS of $1.39 and comparable sales growth of 1.6%, while Best Buy reported comparable sales growth of 4.1% during the quarter.
Best Buy said sales in emerging categories, including AI glasses and Pokémon cards, more than doubled during the quarter as the company continued to expand its product mix.
The company raised its fiscal 2027 outlook, with revenue now expected between $42.3 billion and $42.8 billion, adjusted EPS forecast at $6.70 to $6.90, and comparable sales guidance increased to 1.9% to 3.0%.
Best Buy operates as a consumer electronics retailer selling products across categories including computing, appliances, entertainment, and technology services through stores and online channels.
The quarterly report marked the final earnings release for Chief Executive Officer Corie Barry, with Jason Bonfig scheduled to become CEO on October 31, 2026.
