Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK.A; NYSE:BRK.B) completed its acquisition of Taylor Morrison (NYSE:TMHC) for $72.50 per share in cash.

The $6.8 billion equity deal represented a 24% premium to Taylor Morrison’s $58.50 closing price on May 29, 2026.

Taylor Morrison CEO Sheryl Palmer will oversee integration with Clayton Properties Group’s 15 regional and local homebuilders.

Berkshire plans a unified homebuilding platform.

The combined businesses delivered nearly 23,000 site-built homes in 2025 across 21 states, 52 markets and over 700 communities.

The operation will serve renters and entry-level, move-up and resort buyers through Taylor Morrison, Esplanade, Yardly and Clayton-affiliated brands.
