Bausch + Lomb (NYSE:BLCO) received European CE Mark approval for SeeLyra, a next-generation femtosecond laser platform designed for ophthalmic surgical procedures.

The company said SeeLyra provides surgeons with laser preparation capabilities for premium cataract surgery, LASIK flap procedures, and corneal therapeutic treatments while supporting operating room workflows.

The platform includes live swept-source OCT technology for real-time depth visualization during procedures, along with a compact design and compatibility with existing operating room bed setups.

Bausch + Lomb said SeeLyra maintains features from its previous-generation VICTUS femtosecond platform, including an interface designed to support multiple surgical procedures.

The company plans limited European availability in the coming months, with increasing availability expected in 2027, while regulatory approvals are being pursued in additional markets, including the United States.
