Baker Hughes (NASDAQ:BKR) received a contract from BP for offshore stimulation services supporting new well development and enhanced recovery activities in the UK North Sea.

The agreement expands Baker Hughes’ role in BP’s regional offshore operations and includes services designed to support well completions and production optimization across mature and new fields.

Baker Hughes stated that it will deploy a vessel-based stimulation solution using its StimFORCE™ modular stimulation package to support offshore campaigns.

The company will operate the solution through its UK base and local supply chain network, with the system designed to improve operational reliability, reduce non-productive time, and provide flexibility for offshore schedules.

The contract supports Baker Hughes’ offshore energy services business as operators continue to focus on improving production from existing assets and developing new offshore resources.
