- Azenta (NASDAQ:AZTA) received full repayment of a $35 million secured vendor loan related to the sale of B Medical Systems.
- The repayment completes Azenta’s cash collection of the $63 million B Medical Systems purchase price.
- The company said the credit exposure connected to the transaction has been retired.
Azenta (NASDAQ:AZTA) received full early repayment of a $35 million secured vendor loan related to the sale of B Medical Systems to Thelema S.à r.l.
The loan was provided by Azenta Germany GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Azenta, as part of the transaction that closed on July 1, 2026.
Azenta stated that the loan, which was secured by a pledge over B Medical Systems’ equity interests, was repaid in full along with all accrued interest, and the related share pledge was released.
The repayment means Azenta has now received the full $63 million purchase price for B Medical Systems in cash, while eliminating the remaining credit exposure from the transaction.
The repayment concludes the financial arrangements associated with Azenta’s divestiture of B Medical Systems and converts the transaction proceeds into completed cash receipts.
Azenta provides life sciences solutions, including products and services used in sample management, laboratory automation, and biological storage applications.
