AST SpaceMobile revenue reaches $31.5 million, misses estimates

AST SpaceMobile (NASDAQ:ASTS) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $31.5 million, driven by gateway deliveries and U.S. government milestones, while net loss reached $230.9 million.

Revenue more than doubled sequentially but missed the roughly $35.2 million consensus estimate, while the $0.77 diluted loss per share was also wider than expected.

Operating expenses reached $329.1 million, including a $125.9 million involuntary-conversion loss, while cash, cash equivalents and restricted cash totaled approximately $2.7 billion.

AST SpaceMobile also maintained 2026 revenue guidance of $150–$200 million.

The company now has 13 spacecraft in orbit after BlueBirds 11, 12 and 13 launched on August 5, while BlueBirds 14–16 are nearing shipment.

Elsewhere, AST SpaceMobile reported approximately $1.3 billion of contracted and anticipated backlog and said it is preparing beta service with selected partners during 2026.
