
Arcturus teams up with Thermo Fisher on mRNA therapy

Arcturus Therapeutics Holdings (NASDAQ:ARCT) announced a strategic collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific (NYSE:TMO) to support Phase 3 development and potential commercialization of ARCT-032, its investigational mRNA therapy for cystic fibrosis.
The agreement integrates Thermo Fisher’s Accelerator™ Drug Development services, combining manufacturing, clinical research, and commercial readiness capabilities.
Arcturus said the partnership is intended to support advancement of ARCT-032 through Phase 3, subject to successful Phase 2 results.
Thermo Fisher will provide manufacturing and clinical trial support through its PPD™ clinical research business and broader CDMO infrastructure.
If regulatory approval is granted, Thermo Fisher will receive exclusive commercial manufacturing rights under a separate agreement.
Arcturus said the collaboration is designed to streamline development and prepare supply capacity for potential commercialization of the cystic fibrosis treatment.
