Amcor (NYSE:AMCR) reported third-quarter results for fiscal 2026 that highlighted the scale of its expanded global footprint following the acquisition of Berry Global.

The Zurich-based packaging leader saw a significant top-line surge as it marked the first anniversary of the merger, though it adjusted its full-year outlook to account for geopolitical headwinds and shifting market dynamics.

For the three months ended March 31, 2026, Amcor reported net sales of $5,914 million, a 77% increase compared to the prior-year period.

GAAP net income stood at $278 million, resulting in GAAP diluted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.60.

On an adjusted basis, which excludes acquisition-related costs and restructuring charges, EBITDA rose 87% to $892 million, with adjusted EPS reaching $0.96.

The integration of Berry Global remains the central narrative for the company’s performance.

Amcor realized $77 million in acquisition synergies during the quarter—hitting the upper end of management’s internal targets.

These efficiencies contributed to a 15.1% adjusted EBITDA margin, up from 14.3% a year ago, as the company optimized its manufacturing network and consolidated corporate functions.

However, the company faced challenges in its free cash flow generation and volume trends.

Free cash flow for the fiscal year was revised to a range of $1.5 billion to $1.6 billion, down from previous projections, partly due to the timing of integration expenses and working capital shifts.

Additionally, net debt remained elevated at $14,266 million as of March 31.

Reflecting these factors, management updated its fiscal 2026 guidance, now expecting adjusted EPS in the range of $3.98 to $4.03.
