
AMC revenue rises 14.2% to $1.6 billion
- AMC Entertainment reported second-quarter revenue of $1.6 billion, up 14.2% year over year and above Wall Street expectations.

AMC Entertainment Holdings (NYSE:AMC) reported second-quarter revenue of $1.5967 billion, an increase of 14.2% from $1.3979 billion a year earlier.
The company reported a net loss of $11.4 million compared with a net loss of $4.7 million in the prior-year quarter, while adjusted earnings improved to $104.3 million.
“Our second quarter results reflect continued improvement across our business, with stronger revenues, adjusted EBITDA and cash generation,” said AMC Entertainment President and Chief Executive Officer Adam Aron.
AMC reported adjusted EBITDA of $321.4 million, up 69.6% from $189.5 million, while net cash from operating activities increased to $235.4 million from $138.4 million.
Following the announcement, AMC Entertainment's share price was down 1.3% at $2.27.
AMC ended the second quarter with $778.4 million in cash and cash equivalents, excluding $41.1 million in restricted cash, compared with $423.7 million a year earlier.
For the first half of 2026, AMC reported revenue of $2.6421 billion, adjusted EBITDA of $359.7 million and operating cash flow of $106.9 million.
