AEVEX (NYSE:AVEX) announced it secured a $17.5 million follow-on defense contract under its Global Solutions business segment to continue delivering critical intelligence services.

The contract extends an ongoing operational agreement rather than establishing a completely new program for the company's defense systems pipeline.

"This award reflects continued confidence in AEVEX to deliver the specialized expertise required to advance essential national security interests," said AEVEX Corp Chief Executive Officer Roger Wells.

The business stated that its multi-domain technology framework converts complex, time-sensitive operational information to assist defense personnel during active military missions.

Following the announcement, AEVEX's share price was up at $20.69.

The Solana Beach, California-based corporation designs autonomous unmanned vehicles, artificial intelligence software, and advanced electronic warfare technologies for government entities.

The service extension follows a separate $50 million contract signed with the United States Air Force to scale uncrewed tactical support assets.
