AerCap delivers first A321neo to Azerbaijan Airlines
- AerCap delivered the first Airbus A321neo to Azerbaijan Airlines under a six-aircraft lease program.
- The delivery marks the A321neo’s first entry into Azerbaijan Airlines’ fleet.
- The remaining aircraft are scheduled for delivery through November 2026.
AerCap (NYSE:AER) delivered the first of three new Airbus A321neo aircraft to Azerbaijan Airlines, marking the aircraft type’s entry into the carrier’s fleet.
The delivery is part of a 2024 agreement covering three A321neo and three A320neo aircraft.
AerCap said the remaining aircraft under the program are scheduled to be delivered through November 2026.
The A321neo addition expands Azerbaijan Airlines’ fleet modernization efforts as it continues updating its narrow-body operations.
AerCap said the program forms part of its broader aircraft leasing portfolio, which supplies aircraft to global airlines across multiple regions.
The company continues to focus on fleet renewal demand driven by fuel-efficient narrow-body aircraft such as the Airbus A320neo family.
