AECOM (NYSE:ACM) announced today that it has been awarded a new contract to provide comprehensive architecture and engineering (A/E) services to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

The agreement tasks AECOM with supporting mission-critical facility renovations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives across all 50 U.S. states, as well as Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Under the terms of the contract, AECOM will provide a wide range of technical services, including A/E design, site assessments, facilities planning, environmental services, and design-build documentation.

The scope of work encompasses various facility types, ranging from secure government offices to waterfront, aviation, residential, and commercial infrastructure.

The firm will support a broad spectrum of DHS agencies, including the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. Secret Service, and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.

A significant portion of the contract is dedicated to supporting the U.S. Coast Guard’s ambitious $4 billion shoreline infrastructure recapitalization initiative, which is a key component of the service’s Force Design 2028 framework.

This strategic initiative aims to modernize the Coast Guard’s aging facilities and shore-based assets to better align with current maritime security and operational readiness requirements.

This award builds upon AECOM’s 45-year history of supporting DHS missions, including the last 10 years served under previous iterations of this specific A/E services contract.
