Accenture (NYSE:ACN) reported financial results for the third quarter of fiscal 2026 ended May 31, 2026, highlighting $18.7 billion in revenue and a 9% increase in diluted earnings per share to $3.80.
This revenue result represents a 6% increase in U.S. dollars compared to the third quarter of fiscal 2025, driven by ongoing demand for large-scale enterprise reinvention and AI transformation programs.
The company reported new bookings of $19.3 billion and an operating margin expansion of 20 basis points, bringing the total operating margin to 17%.
Accenture further noted that it returned $2.2 billion to shareholders during the quarter, including $1.2 billion in share repurchases and $1 billion in dividend payments at $1.63 per share.
Following the earnings announcement, the Accenture share price was down approximately 13.3% at $143.50.
The firm continues to expand its addressable market through strategic moves, including recent agreements to acquire majority stakes in OT security leaders such as Dragos.
