Accenture (NYSE:ACN) shares rose after the company announced a partnership with AI lab Anthropic to support artificial intelligence model evaluation and testing.

Accenture shares increased 6.2% to $192.43 in premarket trading after Anthropic said both companies committed at least $1 billion each toward AI model evaluation activities.

The partnership will involve testing and assessing AI models developed by Anthropic, including work focused on identifying potential issues through model evaluation processes.

Following the announcement, the Accenture share price was up 6.2% at $192.43 in premarket trading.

Accenture provides technology consulting, digital services and business transformation solutions to organizations globally.

Before the premarket move, Accenture shares were down 32.4% year to date as investors monitored developments in the technology services sector and artificial intelligence spending.
