Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company (NYSE:ABBV), received European approval for Boey across 30 countries, with effects observed from eight hours.

The approval follows a positive regulatory opinion in May and a Canadian authorization granted in June 2026.

AbbVie said Boey’s effects typically last two to three weeks, while its European launch will include professional education and training.

Following the announcement, AbbVie's share price was unchanged at $254.39 in premarket trading.

Boey’s approval was supported by two Phase III studies enrolling 725 adults who received 700 units or placebo.

The U.S. FDA issued a manufacturing-related complete response letter in April, without requesting further clinical studies or identifying efficacy concerns.
