YZi Labs has made a follow-on investment in prediction market protocol Predict.fun after the platform surpassed $1.8 billion in trading volume.

The round includes Susquehanna Crypto, the digital asset arm of trading firm Susquehanna International Group, highlighting growing institutional interest in onchain prediction markets.

Predict.fun has processed more than 4 million orders since launching in December 2025, positioning it as a fast-growing player on BNB Chain.

The platform allows users to trade on outcomes across crypto, sports and macro events while earning DeFi yield on collateral during active positions.

Built as a self-custodial application, Predict.fun integrates gasless transactions and uses a hybrid system of AI, human verification and UMA’s Optimistic Oracle for market resolution.

YZi Labs said the protocol represents a new model where prediction markets double as yield-generating financial primitives rather than passive bets.

The investment aligns with YZi Labs’ broader strategy to back projects at the intersection of AI and Web3, particularly those driving real user activity.

If growth continues, Predict.fun could emerge as a leading decentralised alternative to traditional prediction platforms and attract further institutional participation.
