XRP whale return meets rising Binance supply

Share

XRP exchange reserves on Binance have risen to their highest level since November 2025, even as on-chain data shows whales returning to accumulation.

Balances climbed to around 2.78 billion XRP, reversing a decline from above 2.8 billion late last year to roughly 2.55 billion in February, signalling a renewed increase in tradable supply.

“Structurally, a rise in reserves on exchanges is often interpreted as a potential increase in the tradable supply in the spot market, as a larger quantity of coins becomes available for immediate trading,”

Said analyst Arab Chain.

At the same time, XRP’s Whale Flow 30-day moving average has turned positive for the first time since November 2025, indicating large holders have shifted from net selling to net accumulation.

The combination suggests that while more XRP is available on exchanges, whale demand may be absorbing the added liquidity, and following the move XRP price was up at $1.58.

XRP has rallied around 10% over the past 24 hours, outperforming other major cryptocurrencies and reaching its highest level since mid-February.

Whether continued whale accumulation can offset rising exchange supply or if increased liquidity creates resistance is likely to determine XRP’s near-term price direction.

At the time of reporting, XRP price was $1.55.
