X launches US trading links with five partners

• X has launched its US Cashtag Partner Program with Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Interactive Brokers and Moomoo.
• Users can now tap supported stock, ETF and crypto cashtags to view prices and access a Trade option.
• Trades remain on partner platforms, giving X a direct link between financial discussions and external trading services.

X has launched its US Cashtag Partner Program with five brokerages, giving users a route from asset discussions to external trading platforms.

The programme includes Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Interactive Brokers and Moomoo, with US users able to access the feature from supported cashtags.

“People come to X to discover what’s happening, shape the conversation, and act in real-time on what matters to them,” said Monique Pintarelli, SpaceXAI’s head of global advertising.

Users can tap a supported cashtag to open an asset page showing price information and related posts before selecting Trade and moving to a participating brokerage.

The transactions are completed through the selected brokerage rather than X, with each partner applying its own account requirements, asset availability and customer eligibility rules.

X introduced smart cashtags earlier in 2026, adding live charts, financial information and asset-specific discussions before extending the feature to brokerage connections in the US.

The launch expands X's financial services strategy alongside X Money, while the company has not disclosed when the Cashtag Partner Program will add more firms or expand beyond the US.
