Wyoming adds on-chain reserves to FRNT stablecoin
- Wyoming is adding near-real-time reserve checks to its state-issued Frontier Stable Token.
- Chainlink will publish verified data on FRNT reserves and token supply on-chain.
- Wyoming is also working on a system that could check reserves before new FRNT tokens are issued.
Wyoming is adding near-real-time reserve checks to Frontier Stable Token (CRYPTO:FRNT) using Chainlink (CRYPTO:LINK) infrastructure.
The Wyoming Stable Token Commission said the system will publish verified reserve and supply data on-chain.
The system combines independent checks by The Network Firm with Chainlink’s Proof of Reserve technology.
Wyoming already publishes daily reserve attestations, while the GENIUS Act requires monthly reserve disclosures.
The commission is also working to add Chainlink’s Secure Mint feature to FRNT.
The feature would require verified reserves to match or exceed FRNT’s supply before new tokens are issued.
FRNT launched in January and is backed by US dollars and short-term US Treasurys, with reserve interest supporting Wyoming’s School Foundation Program.
At the time of reporting, Frontier Stable Token price was $1.00.
