Uniswap (CRYPTO:UNI) processed about US$1.5 billion in stock-token trading on Robinhood Chain within six weeks, according to Crypto Briefing data cited by BitcoinWorld.

The trading volume followed the launch of Robinhood Chain about six weeks earlier, with Uniswap accounting for 99% of stock-token liquidity on the network.

Uniswap’s daily stock-token volume exceeded US$130 million on August 29, according to the report, setting a new record.

About 60% of the reported trading activity occurred outside regular US stock-market hours, according to the same data.

Uniswap passed US$1 billion in cumulative stock-token volume in mid-August before reaching the reported US$1.5 billion total.

Robinhood Chain is a layer-2 blockchain designed for tokenised assets, including stock tokens, according to BitcoinWorld.

The report said tokenised stocks can support features such as fractional ownership and round-the-clock trading, while regulation remains a key issue.

At the time of reporting, Uniswap price was $5.17.
