Uniswap rolls out aggregator hooks across three networks
- Uniswap has launched aggregator hooks across Ethereum, Base and Robinhood Chain to connect traders with external liquidity.
- The integration includes Fluid, Curve and PancakeSwap, extending access to liquidity beyond Uniswap’s own pools.
- Fees from trades routed through external liquidity sources will contribute to Uniswap (UNI) token burns.
Uniswap has launched aggregator hooks across Ethereum, Base and Robinhood Chain, extending its v4 protocol to external liquidity platforms, according to an exclusive report by The Block.
The rollout connects Fluid, Curve and PancakeSwap liquidity to Uniswap v4, with access through its web app and API across all three networks.
“Each Aggregator Hook wraps an external source in a Uniswap v4 hook, so that any router sees it as a Uniswap pool,” Uniswap Labs said in a statement.
The hooks compare prices across Uniswap pools and external platforms, routing trades through a single transaction to access available liquidity.
The integration also introduces protocol fees on trades routed through external liquidity sources, with proceeds contributing to UNI token burns.
Uniswap v4 lets developers customise liquidity pools through hooks, enabling additional functions and trading rules within the protocol.
Uniswap Labs says the protocol has processed more than US$4.5 trillion in cumulative trading volume, providing context for its push to aggregate external liquidity.
Following the update, UNI was trading down 7.1% at $6.98.
