VIP access to President Donald Trump’s upcoming TRUMP meme coin event at Mar-a-Lago has dropped sharply, with entry costs falling around 90% compared to last year.
Top-tier attendees previously needed millions in token holdings, but this year some qualified with roughly $300,000 worth of TRUMP, reflecting a steep decline in token value.
The TRUMP token has fallen about 96% from its peak and was recently trading near $2.80, down significantly from its all-time high of $73.43.
VIP access is granted to the top 29 holders based on time-weighted token balances, with perks including private sessions with figures such as Paolo Ardoino, Mike Tyson, and Cathie Wood.
Blockchain data shows some qualifying wallets held just over 100,000 tokens during the snapshot period, far below the multi-million dollar thresholds seen at the first event.
The sharp drop in entry cost aligns with the token’s broader decline, with even top holder Justin Sun now holding a portfolio worth significantly less than during the previous event.
The event, scheduled for April 25, includes conditions such as background checks and may still be cancelled, with attendees receiving an NFT if it does not proceed.
