US President Donald Trump disclosed holding more than US$50 million in Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) in cold storage through CIC Digital LLC, according to his 2025 Office of Government Ethics financial disclosure.
The filing also reported more than US$1 billion in crypto-related revenue and proceeds linked to World Liberty Financial (CRYPTO:WLFI) and other digital asset ventures, although several reported figures represent aggregated proceeds or royalties rather than direct personal income.
The filing states that the Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) holding is a “Cryptocurrency Wallet Virtual Bitcoin Key (held in cold wallet)” valued at “Over US$50,000,000.”
The disclosure also lists Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH) holdings valued between US$5 million and US$25 million, a staked Ethereum position through Coinbase that generated US$510,808 in validator rewards, USDC (CRYPTO:USDC) holdings valued between US$5 million and US$25 million, and additional digital asset wallets held through CIC Digital LLC.
Separate entries linked to World Liberty Financial reported more than US$236.25 million in token sale proceeds, while CIC Digital LLC reported US$635.07 million in royalty income from a licensing agreement with Celebration Coins, and as the filing relates to personal financial disclosures there was no direct share price reaction to report.
The filing does not disclose when the Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) was acquired, its purchase price or the exact size of the holdings because Office of Government Ethics reporting requirements use broad valuation ranges capped at "Over US$50,000,000."
The disclosure also reported that US Vice President JD Vance holds between US$250,001 and US$500,000 in Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC), providing further detail on the digital asset holdings of senior members of the US administration.
