  • Trueo announced plans to migrate its decentralised prediction market protocol from Base to the Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH) mainnet.
  • The protocol manages an onchain total value locked of $795,687 while ranking as the 14th-largest prediction market.
  • Leadership positioned the network shift to capture broader ecosystem liquidity and deploy next-generation oracle systems.

Decentralised prediction market platform Trueo has announced an upcoming network migration from Base to the Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH) mainnet.

The protocol initially launched on Base in March 2025 as an experimental application to mitigate elevated mainnet gas costs.

“Ethereum is the best chain for the most credibly neutral and truthful oracle system and prediction markets,” said Co-Founder Lumberg.

The migration targets enhanced integration potential and superior product upside compared to ecosystem-restricted layer-2 deployment frameworks.

“As a new app and experiment, an L2 like Base was the right choice for many reasons,” said the Trueo project team on X.

Future staking rewards and tokenholder migration windows are structured to transition directly to the Ethereum mainnet.

The protocol set a cutoff date of January 31, 2027, for creating new Base markets with later expiration profiles.

Following the update, Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH) was trading down at $2,744.60.
