Tokenised stock transfers reached US$8.41 billion over the past month, up 105%, while the sector's distributed value rose 43% to US$2.16 billion as blockchain-based equity markets continued to expand.
Data from RWA.xyz showed the number of tokenised stock holders increased 17% to more than 409,000, with Figure's distributed value rising 935%, Securitize's increasing 332% and xStocks growing about 62% during the month.
“The tokenised stock market has grown from roughly US$378 million to US$2.16 billion over the past year,” according to RWA.xyz data.

The tokenised stock market outperformed other real-world asset segments over the month, while tokenised US Treasurys remained broadly unchanged and the wider tokenised real-world asset market grew about 4% to US$33.5 billion.
The recent growth has coincided with exchanges including Kraken, Bybit and Bitget Wallet expanding tokenised equity offerings, while Securitize recently became the first newly listed company to issue tokenised versions of its shares on the Solana and Avalanche blockchains.
Traditional financial institutions are also expanding tokenisation initiatives, with the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation planning a tokenised securities service and Intercontinental Exchange and Nasdaq developing blockchain-based trading infrastructure for tokenised stocks and exchange-traded funds.
