Super League raises $2.23M through ATM

Super League Enterprise raised about US$2.23 million through its first at-the-market stock offering.

The company sold 475,598 shares under a sales agreement signed with Benchmark and StoneX on 18 August.

Super League is being acquired by Metaplanet, which plans to use the company as its US Bitcoin treasury platform.

The company filed an amendment offering up to another US$2.27 million of common stock under the same agreement.

Super League’s shares closed at US$4.03 on 21 August, according to its prospectus amendment.

Metaplanet agreed to acquire about 95.7% of Super League for approximately US$134.6 million, subject to closing.

The transaction includes 2,100 Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) valued at about US$132.1 million and US$2.5 million in cash.

At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $78,842.88.
