STS Digital has launched a structured products platform for digital assets, partnering with Kraken as its first distribution partner to expand access to options-based investment strategies.

The platform enables clients to access predefined payoff structures built on derivatives, with Kraken integrating the system via API to power its Dual Investment product for Bitcoin and Ether.

“This collaboration reflects our commitment to offering flexible, innovative products that help clients engage with digital assets in more sophisticated ways,”

Said Kraken director of derivatives, Alexia Theodorou.

The offering allows investors to generate returns through strategies such as covered calls, providing alternatives to traditional crypto yield sources like staking or lending.

Structured products package derivatives into a single instrument with predefined outcomes based on the performance of underlying assets, offering potential yield or downside protection.

The launch follows a $30 million funding round led by CMT Digital, with participation from Kraken’s parent company Payward, aimed at scaling STS Digital’s institutional trading capabilities.

The platform operates under a Bermuda Monetary Authority licence and comes amid broader industry efforts to expand institutional crypto offerings, though such products carry risks linked to volatility, liquidity, and counterparty exposure.

At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $70,941.15.
