  • Solana (CRYPTO:SOL) became the largest blockchain for tokenised real-world asset holders with 285,971 wallets, surpassing Ethereum and BNB Chain.
  • The network's RWA holder base grew 29.3% in 30 days as tokenised credit, equities, and institutional products expanded on the platform.
  • Despite leading in wallet count, Solana remains behind Ethereum in total tokenised asset value, with US$3 billion compared with US$16.3 billion.

Solana (CRYPTO:SOL) recorded 285,971 wallets holding tokenised real-world assets as of June 18, surpassing Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH) and BNB Chain (CRYPTO:BNB) to become the largest blockchain network by RWA holder count.

The milestone represents approximately 31% of the global tokenised asset market's 924,469 holders across 35 blockchain networks, while Solana's holder base increased 29.3% over the previous 30 days.

“Tokenisation is most powerful when it combines quality assets with the speed, efficiency and accessibility of blockchain infrastructure,” said Securitize co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Carlos Domingo.

RWA.xyz data showed Solana's distributed real-world asset value reached US$3 billion, while transfer volume climbed 66.94% month-over-month to US$5.5 billion, supported by launches of tokenised credit products, equities, and reinsurance securities.

Institutional issuers including Securitize expanded tokenised asset offerings on Solana, while Ethena Labs disclosed a planned US$250 million allocation to Securitize's tokenised collateralised loan obligation fund, and following the latest data Solana remained the largest blockchain by RWA wallet count.

Ethereum continues to lead the sector by total tokenised asset value with US$16.3 billion, compared with US$3.9 billion on BNB Chain and US$3 billion on Solana, according to RWA.xyz.

Industry participants said Solana's growth has been supported by expanding stablecoin infrastructure, tokenised equity trading activity, and increasing participation from retail and mid-market investors as competition in the tokenisation sector intensifies.

At the time of reporting, Solana price was $68.36.
