SC Ventures fuels Yellow Card's expansion across Latin America and Asia-Pacific
SC Ventures has joined a $40 million funding round for stablecoin provider Yellow Card, as Standard Chartered's innovation arm accelerates its global digital asset strategy.
In this interview, Harald Eltvedt, Operating Member at SC Ventures, outlines the unit's digital asset investments and how its ventures are maturing from early builds into the core bank.
The capital will propel Yellow Card’s Global USD Accounts into Latin America and Asia-Pacific, marking another major digital asset move for SC Ventures alongside its backing of Digital Asset’s $365 million round, the HKDAP stablecoin rollout via its Anchorpoint joint venture, and its recent move to acquire full ownership of Zodia Custody.
