Judge Katherine Polk Failla granted the delay after Storm’s lawyers requested more time to prepare.
Prosecutors had opposed the delay, according to the court filing cited by Cointelegraph.
A jury convicted Storm in August 2025 for helping operate an unlicensed money-transmitting business.
Jurors could not agree on two other charges involving money laundering and US sanctions.
Storm said his acquittal request remains undecided, while the court now faces an April 2027 retrial date.
