Ripple has expanded institutional access to regulated cryptocurrency futures by integrating Coinbase Derivatives contracts into its prime brokerage platform Ripple Prime.
The move allows Ripple Prime clients to trade the full suite of Coinbase Derivatives futures cleared by Nodal Clear, following Ripple becoming a clearing member and routing trades through its brokerage infrastructure.
The expanded access connects global institutional clients to a regulated derivatives marketplace as demand for crypto futures continues to grow.
“Offering the full suite of Coinbase Derivatives contracts within Ripple Prime’s robust clearing framework underscores our commitment to delivering increased market access and efficiency to institutions globally,”
Said Ripple Prime president, Noel Kimmel.
The integration is facilitated through Hidden Road Partners CIV US LLC, the futures commission merchant acquired by Ripple last year and later rebranded as Ripple Prime.
“We’re pleased to collaborate with Ripple to continue expanding access to Coinbase Derivatives contracts,”
