POSCO International converted trade receivables into digital assets on an Avalanche (CRYPTO:AVAX) blockchain network.

The transaction follows a July pilot with LG CNS that used Injective to handle tokenised receivables.

Intain used artificial intelligence to reconcile invoices, purchase orders, credit notes and shipping documents.

The receivables came from trade activity, with blockchain records designed to create shared ownership and asset-status information.

POSCO International shares closed at 53,900 won on August 25, up 0.56% from the previous session.

POSCO International generated $22.2 billion in revenue from steel, energy and battery materials and operates more than 80 overseas branches.

The company, Olea and Intain plan to explore stablecoin-based cross-border settlements and digital treasury tools as tokenisation expands into trade finance.

At the time of reporting, Avalanche price was $7.39.
