Pitbull has confirmed his 14th studio album will be called “Pitcoin”, according to the report.

The announcement has led to several crypto tokens using the album’s name appearing across different networks.

The most active PITCOIN token recorded $583,231 in daily trading volume, according to the report.

The first PITCOIN token on Solana appeared on August 12, the same day Billboard reported the album title.

That token trades on PumpSwap and has about $54,387 in liquidity, according to trading data cited by BeInCrypto.

A newer PITCOIN token on a Uniswap V4 pool linked to Robinhood’s blockchain rose 207% within seven hours.

Most other tokens remain small, with many carrying market capitalisations below $3,000.
