Payward joins AI security project with Mythos 5
- Payward has joined Anthropic’s Project Glasswing and gained access to Claude Mythos 5.
- The AI model will scan Payward systems for software flaws before attackers can exploit them.
- Payward will share flaws found in open-source software with its developers.
Payward, the parent company of Kraken, has joined Project Glasswing and gained access to Claude Mythos 5.
The project gives selected firms access to AI tools that can find and fix software security flaws.
Payward co-CEO Arjun Sethi said the company faces a constant challenge because attackers need to find only one vulnerability, while defenders must identify them all.
Payward plans to deploy Mythos 5 across its systems in the coming weeks and add findings to its security programme.
The company will also share flaws found in third-party open-source software with the relevant developers.
Project Glasswing already includes Amazon Web Services, Apple, Google, Microsoft and JPMorganChase.
Anthropic launched the project in April 2026 as AI became more capable of finding software vulnerabilities, including across critical infrastructure.
