Open Standard has launched Open USD (OUSD), issued by Bridge, across four blockchains.
OUSD launched natively on Base, Ethereum, Solana and Tempo for business and developer use.
Open Standard positions OUSD for banking, payments, settlement, trading and other financial services.
The stablecoin supports minting and burning at a 1:1 US dollar conversion rate.
OUSD is available through BVNK, Stripe and Visa, with Coinbase integration beginning October 1.
Bridge issued OUSD, with reserves held at BlackRock, Lead Bank and BNY.
Open Standard has more than 200 partners spanning financial institutions, fintechs, banks and global businesses.
Following the update, OUSD trading support began on Coinbase, Kraken and Uniswap.
