Myriad partners AceTrader on $30K prediction contest
Prediction market Myriad has teamed up with crypto proprietary trading firm AceTrader to let users predict outcomes in the AceTrader 100 competition, with $30,000 in prizes on offer.
The AceTrader 100 pits well-known crypto traders against each other for a $1 million USDC trading fund, with Myriad users able to trade on markets tied to individual and group performance.
“The AceTrader 100 isn’t just a competition; it’s a spectator sport for the crypto community,”
An AceTrader spokesperson said, adding that prediction markets add “a layer of accountability and engagement.”
Myriad said its users can compete for a $20,000 trade fund for first place on the leaderboard, $10,000 for second, and additional rewards including subscriptions and Myriad Points.
The competition features traders including Myriad president and co-founder Farokh Sarmad, who said the contest gives users a chance to back their favourite traders.
AceTrader allows participants to qualify for managing firm capital through simulated evaluations, with the company absorbing trading risk in exchange for a share of profits.
The partnership reflects growing overlap between prediction markets and crypto trading competitions as platforms seek to boost engagement and participation.
