  • The move reflects growing demand for legal expertise as blockchain adoption expands.

The American Arbitration Association (AAA) has launched a specialist panel of arbitrators and mediators to handle disputes involving Web3, blockchain, digital assets and smart contracts.

The panel brings together legal and technical experts to resolve disputes involving cryptocurrency exchanges, wallet providers, decentralised autonomous organisations, tokenised assets and blockchain infrastructure through arbitration and mediation.

According to the AAA, the panel is designed to address the growing complexity of blockchain-related disputes, including smart contract failures, custody issues, security breaches and governance conflicts.

The launch positions the AAA to support the expanding Web3 sector as businesses increasingly seek specialist dispute resolution for digital asset transactions and decentralised technologies.
