Kyrgyzstan taps CertiK for digital asset security

The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has signed a cooperation agreement with blockchain security firm CertiK.
The memorandum covers cybersecurity, blockchain technology, digital assets, risk monitoring and compliance.
“The Memorandum of Understanding that we are signing today establishes a framework for further dialogue and cooperation,” said Sanzhar Abdygaziev, a National Bank board member.
The two sides will also exchange expertise on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing controls.
The partnership includes consultations, working meetings and potential joint initiatives in digital asset security.
CertiK will also support knowledge sharing around blockchain infrastructure and digital asset risk management.
The agreement comes as Kyrgyzstan develops its Digital Som and expands its approach to digital asset security and supervision.
