Kraken’s xStocks platform and Fundrise have launched VCXx, a tokenised asset offering onchain exposure to late-stage private technology companies including SpaceX, OpenAI and Anthropic.

The product tokenises the Fundrise Innovation Fund (NYSE: VCX) into a single digital asset, enabling eligible global investors to access private market exposure via blockchain-based infrastructure.

“We built VCX to act as a bridge between the public and private markets,”

Said Fundrise CEO Ben Miller.

VCXx will be listed on the xStocks platform in the coming days, issued by Backed Assets and distributed through Payward Digital Solutions, with geographic restrictions including exclusion from the United States.

The launch marks a shift in tokenised equities beyond public stocks and ETFs, allowing users to deploy assets in decentralised finance applications such as lending, collateralisation and automated trading strategies.

xStocks currently supports more than 100 tokenised stocks and ETFs, reporting over $25 billion in transaction volume and more than 100,000 unique holders across its platform.

The move reflects growing demand to merge traditional finance with blockchain infrastructure, expanding access to previously hard-to-reach private tech investments while maintaining regulatory constraints.
