  • The launch expands tokenised investment products beyond money market funds and credit into listed-equity index strategies.

Janus Henderson Group plc (NYSE:JHG) and Centrifuge have launched JQQQ, a blockchain-native fund tracking the Nasdaq-100 Index.

The fund operates under a Nasdaq index licence, bringing equity-benchmark exposure to public blockchain infrastructure.

“We’re pleased to partner with Nasdaq Global Indexes and Centrifuge to launch JQQQ,” according to Janus Henderson Head of Innovation Nick Cherney.

JQQQ launches exclusively on Stellar (XLM), where tokenised real-world assets exceeded $4 billion in 2026.

“With Janus Henderson and Nasdaq Global Indexes, we are bringing the Nasdaq-100 Index® onchain as a licensed, issuer-sponsored institutional investment product,” according to Centrifuge Chief Strategy and Growth Officer Anil Sood.

The fund uses Centrifuge’s infrastructure, while Janus Henderson’s onchain platform includes more than $1 billion in institutional strategies across US Treasuries, structured credit and public equities.

JQQQ is available only to eligible investors in permitted jurisdictions and excludes US persons, while its shares provide indirect economic exposure rather than ownership rights in index constituents.

The launch extends tokenised investment products beyond cash-equivalent assets and credit into licensed equity-index exposure, widening the range of traditional investment strategies available onchain.
